It's been too long.......
After a serious amount of neglect I'm back and will be trying to post more photos and also adding the odd recipe or two. This second year at uni has been crazy busy and with selling up and moving across Auckland life has been hectic.......just the usual excuses really.

Ideas vs Reality
With spring/summer just around the corner (fingers, toes and everything else crossed). I momentarily thought of taking it easy on my intake of sweet treats and goodies.....then seconds later came back to reality and realised that probably won't happen. Especially with the discovery of the most amazing cafe in Takapuna, Auckland........Little and Friday. I am extremely glad that this is in no way close to where I live because if it was I would firstly be broke and secondly be a few dress sizes bigger. The food is amazing and definitely worth the drive for a special treat..........that said I feel a drive coming on...........

honestly....food does find me.
Well here goes......I hope that this will be the first of many posts to come.
At the beginning of the year I started what I hope will be the beginning of a new career for me. I am studying photography. I always knew I loved taking pictures but didn't realise until last year that I wanted it to be more than just taking pictures for fun.
As we've made our way through different types of photography in class I've come to realise that I could combine two of my favourite things (besides my family), food and photography. The posts on here will be a combination of food I have made and other peoples food I have photographed.
So here I am and here goes.........enjoy.
